The Y-E Data Printer Division features two lines of products: dot impact and thermal transfer printers.

High-speed dot impact printers are the principle products of the Printer Division. Our printers are based on shuttle printer technology originally introduced by Printronix, Inc. However, we refined and advanced this technology to include smaller pins and the quick responsiveness needed in the Japanese language environment. Y-E Data dot impact printers are highly acclaimed in rugged industrial applications, where high speed and reliability are required.

The Sign Painter^TM series of printers feature thermal transfer technology, specially designed for large format printing. Sign Painter output can range up to 4 meters in length, useful for posters, signs, and billboards. Sign Painter was used to print the new fare schedules and timetables displayed at train stations throughout the Tokyo metropolitan area from April 1997.

An epoch-making low cost, small-sized, lightweight shuttle printer.	Employs a 12-column hammer bank to achieve its blazing speed.	Wide format output up to 4 meters in length for signs, etc. Features good fade-resistance and ability to print on many kinds of media.
